Final Countdown

I am on the verge of submitting my final assignment to my tutor. After, I will make sure all my work from this course is all up to scratch, looking uniform and well-presented and making sure it is to the best of my ability. So that I am ready to submit my work for assessment which opens in a month. I have a few things I need to sort out in terms of presentation also, but nothing major.
I have learnt a lot throughout this course, and when I signed up for the BA (Hons) degree, I wasn’t sure what to really expect. I have tried my best with each and every task and have pushed myself and my knowledge to the best of my ability. Along the way I have learnt a tonne of new artists, techniques and research methods etc. which will all help me humongous amounts towards any future work, in any aspect of photography. I have to say, I thought each section of the course and exercises were all really fun and I have nothing negative to say about the course materials. It was all rather challenging and thrilling. The email chat, amongst with my tutor’s support was very beneficial throughout and the OCA has many resources that are easily accessible and to navigate, meaning I can really get down to work.
For me, I cannot wait to see my result and hopefully progress onto the next part of the degree and jump straight in.
Looking back on my work, I feel that I have tried very hard to meet all criteria and outcomes for the whole course. Personally, I feel I have shown progression from the first exercise and assignment, to the last and how I have evolved as a photographer, through my photography, but also research amongst other written work.
Project 1, of Part 2, Exercise 2.1, was one of my strongest and my favoured shoots, as I feel that the location I chose was very affective and really good example to fulfil the brief.
Another one that I thoroughly enjoyed was the natural light shoot in Part 4, although the artificial light was, in my opinion the weakest. I feel this is because I had big expectations for myself in that shoot and feel the end product was not ideal, in relation to my original idea of the final outcome.
Overall, across the year, I have spent a lot of time and effort on this particular course and hopefully the next one will be just as successful.
Thanks to everyone for the support.

What a wonderful result Lewis. You have worked so hard. So much research before each assignment, but well worth your efforts as you have taken some excellent photos, especially the action shots taken at the skate park. Keep up the hard work, I can see great results coming up in the future. Very well done.
    All the best, Auntie Jean.
