It has been a week since my first blog post and I have been very busy with work and getting up together with my uni work. In my spare time I watched Liverpool vs PSG and have seen a few mates.
Today is my day off work and I have dedicated it to uni. I have created some mind maps and also done some research for my first shoot and a shoot plan. For my research I focused on Karen Knorr as I really liked her images and how they caught my attention because of how striking they are, with the animals and objects they contained, whether they were full of colour or black and white.

I have also been out locally and have shot my first shoot for the ‘Square Mile’. I walked down from my house to the skatepark and photographed my journey in which I would take so often as a child. Many different memories were created on that journey and they’re all still so cherished.
I feel the shoot went well, although there is always room for improvement. I used various settings on the camera and used the ‘Square Mile’ as a starting point for my uni work. I familiarised myself some more with my equipment and tried all kinds of different shots to see what worked well and what didn’t. I am yet to look at my photos in any depth but I am sure I will within the next week.
I decided because of how busy I am, that I will be updating my blog weekly, on a Friday.
Hope everyone who reads this has a great weekend.
